Our Gold Standard Drone Survey is a specialist aerial inspection service carried out by a fully qualified commercial drone operator and Chartered Building Surveyor.

It is designed to safely and efficiently assess high-level and otherwise inaccessible parts of a building, providing clear visual evidence of the condition of key external elements such as roofs, chimneys and upper-level structures.

Drone inspections can often reveal defects and maintenance issues that may not be visible from ground level, providing a more complete understanding of a property’s condition. In many cases, this approach also reduces the need for traditional access equipment such as scaffolding or cherry pickers, offering a more efficient and less disruptive alternative.

All inspections are carried out using detailed pre-flight planning and risk assessment procedures to ensure safety, compliance and accuracy throughout.

Each survey includes high-quality aerial photography and video footage, providing clear visual documentation of the areas inspected. Where required, this information can also be incorporated into a tailored condition report with professional interpretation and advice on any identified defects or maintenance requirements.
